The Township of Mapleton (Mapleton) currently owns water and wastewater treatment facilities and the associated collection and distribution infrastructure to serve the residents of their two local urban centers, Drayton and Moorfield. To meet the capacity requirements driven by growth in the Township, Mapleton will need to upgrade both their water and wastewater treatment systems. These projects are varied in nature, but are generally related to capacity water storage, treatment, and distribution capacity improvements, wastewater treatment capacity expansion, and wastewater conveyance capacity expansion.

The Township of Mapleton is currently planning to deliver these upgrades in a piecemealed manner, which is driven primarily by short-term budgetary constraints. Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), Mapleton is requesting Proposals from potential partners willing to enter a legal relationship with Mapleton to develop and deliver the Project. Only RFP’s from potential business partners willing to explore the provision of design, construction, and financing services will be considered.
