The Township of Mapleton (the “Township”) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to select a qualified Construction Management (CM) firm for the enhancement and expansion of the PMD Arena and Community Centre, including a new addition and associated upgrades to improve recreation, community use, accessibility and energy performance. The project includes, as applicable to the final design, a multi-sport gymnasium with an indoor walking/running track, flexible community programming and meeting spaces, upgraded washrooms and kitchen facilities, improved accessibility features including an elevator and enhanced arena access, parking and site improvements, a fully accessible playground, and energy-efficiency and building system upgrades. 

The successful Proponent will be engaged under CCDC 5B-2025 Construction Management for Services and Construction, modified by Township Supplementary Conditions. The Construction Manager (CM) will provide pre-construction, construction, closeout, and warranty-related Construction Services, including active construction, cost, schedule, procurement and logistics advice during design. During construction, the CM will hold and administer the trade contracts, assume responsibility for construction performance, and act as the Constructor for the Place of the Work.
